A three part TV miniseries based on Agatha Christie’s classic whodunit The Seven Dials, which was first published way back in 1929, is getting a Netflix release – and we’ve just got our hands on it – the trailer has just dropped
Written by Chris Chibnall, Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials is due to land on the Netflix platform from January 15th. It’s a mystery set in the English countryside in the mid 1920s – that is until a party at a posh country mansion takes a dark and deadly turn
The main crux of the mystery revolves around Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Bren,t played by Mia McKenna-Bruce – she’s the woman on a mission to get to the bottom of what went down at that ill-fated bash, & finds herself getting more and more entangled in a web of mystery and deception tied to the fabled ‘seven dials’.
The trailer gives us a taste of the atmosphere the show will be going for – all suspenseful scenes and mysterious whispers – it’s safe to say it’s not going to be a relaxing watch. The star of the show is firmly set on getting to the truth – whether other characters think so or not, she’s determined to follow her own lead
The cast for this thing is looking pretty impressive – we’re talking Helena Bonham Carter as the fabulous Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman as the gruff but lovable Superintendent Battle, alongside some other stars you might know – Edward Bluemel, Corey Mylchreest, and Nabhaan Rizwan, to name a few. We’ve got high hopes for this one; it looks like one of the first TV shows to keep an eye on in January.
