Amazon MGM Studios just dropped the very first look trailer for the new action-comedy flick – Brothers in Arms. This thing is coming to Prime Video at the end of the month and it’s got a pretty massive cast lined up – Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista are starring as an explosive pair of brothers – and I mean explosive, they’ve got some serious chemistry going on.
This film follows the wild story of brothers Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista). They are brothers from different mothers who’ve had no contact with each other for god knows how long – until their father kicks the bucket in a nutshell of an odd way. And let me tell you, they are both immediately on a mission to get to the bottom of just what really went down, and that leads them to cross paths with a certain Yakuza cell.
These two are ready to blow stuff up left, right and centre, but their brotherly loyalty is put to the test when secrets start coming to the surface & suddenly there’s a massive scheme that threatens their whole family. Screenwriter Jonathan Tropper got this all down on paper for director Ángel Manuel Soto, who is fresh off the back of Charm City Kings & Blue Beetle, and you also got a credits list that’s chock full of big names, including Matt Reeves as a producer alongside Lynn Harris, Jeffrey Fierson & you guessed it, Jason Momoa.
The movie boasts a seriously talented cast, Jason Momoa & Dave Bautista lead the way as brothers Jonny & James and they are backed up by Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, Japanese singer Miyavi, Stephen Root & Morena Baccarin. Supporting cast and crew include Hugo Borich, Sean Meehan, Joshua Hamill, Maia Kealoha, Mark R. Black, David Hekili Kenui Bell, Lydia Peckham, Roimata Fox, Branscombe Richmond & Stephen Oyoung. This is an Amazon MGM Studios release with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 6th & Idaho Productions & Hard J Productions getting the project off the ground – and you can catch it on Prime Video on Jan 28th.
